On October 10, 2010, the Global Work Party, composed of thousands of groups from different countries aroundthe globe, will unite to celebrate climate solutions. From installing solar panels, doing bike workshops, to planting trees, these groups will get to work to help achieve the global call to reduce carbon dioxide concentration in theatmosphere to 350ppm to prevent runaway climate change.
Here in the Philippines, Agham Youth is organizing a TREE PLANTING work party event on October 10, 2010 in Calaca, Batangas. The work party titled 350ppm is Tree Hefty; aims to plant 350 Trees of Hope in Calaca, Batangas to contribute to the mitigation of climate change.
In this light, we are inviting you to take part in this historic world-wide event to save the climate by pledging tree seedlings. Attached is the list of tree-seedling packages that you can choose from. Kindly send yourpledge by October 6 through our representative. In exchange your name will be included in our eventbanner on October 10 and you will receive a postcard made from pictures of the actual event as our token of appreciation for your concern for the environment and the people that will be gravely affected by climate change.
